In the midst of the coronavirus crisis, Shahbaz Sharif returned to Pakistan

LAHORE - Pakistani opposition leader Shahbaz Sharif has been returning home to Britain's National Assembly with his brother and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif for the past few months.

Nawaz and his mother saw the president of Pakistan Muslim League at their London residence on Saturday evening.

Shebaz Sharif says:- he wants to use his expertise in dealing with conditions like dengue to help the people of Pakistan to deal with the coronavirus crisis.

Sharif returned after the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in Pakistan increased to 665 after new cases were reported in Balochistan, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab on Saturday.

Sindh was most affected by 357 cases. According to the regional health ministry, the surge was attributed to 89 new patients who tested positive for the virus in Sukkur.

There have been 137 cases in Punjab where Shahbaz Sharif has ruled for nearly a decade.

The former Punjab chief minister was in London, where he sought medical treatment for cancer. After allowing the former prime minister to go abroad, Shebaz brought his brother Nawaz to London for medical treatment.

Earlier today it announced that it was suspending international flights for two weeks due to coronaviruses.

The suspension will be in effect from March 21 to April 4, according to government advice shared by Moide W. Yousuf, Premier Special Assistant on National Security.

However, the ban is temporary and does not include cargo and diplomats in Pakistan.
